Guide for Authors

The International Journal of Telecommunications (IJT) Papers are selected for publication based on their relevance, clarity, topicality, the extent to which they advance knowledge, and their contribution to inspiring further development and research. The journal strives to maintain a balance between papers derived from research and practical experience. Only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of the IJT will be reviewed.

Authors should submit articles to the journal online by following instructions on the author's page of the journal website.

Submission of a paper implies that you are submitting your original work, that it has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that if accepted it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher.

The IJT to which you are submitting your manuscript employs a plagiarism detection system. By submitting your manuscript to this journal, you accept that your manuscript may be screened for plagiarism against previously published works.

All papers are double-blind reviewed by the editorial team on submission and triaged. This decision is made after an editorial ranking which is made on the basis based on novelty, impact, and quality of the paper, as well as whether we feel the article would be well suited to the IJT readership.

Guide for Authors After Submission

  1. This journal operates a double-blind (or three-blind) anonymized review process.
  2. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal.
  3. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper.
  4. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor's decision is final.
  5. Editors are not involved in decisions about papers that they have written themselves or have been written by family members or colleagues or which relate to products or services in which the editor has an interest.
  6. This journal uses a double-blind review, which means the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa. To facilitate this, please include the following separately:
    a) Title page (with author details): This should include the title, author's names, affiliations, acknowledgments, any Declaration of Interest statement, and a complete address for the corresponding author including an e-mail address.
    b) Blinded manuscript (no author details): The main body of the paper (including the references, figures, tables, and acknowledgments) should not include any identifying information, such as the author's names or affiliations.
    c) Ensure that file names do not include the authors' names.

Guide for Authors After Manuscript Decision

The IJT manuscript decisions are one of the following states:

  1. Accept.
To ensure a fast publication process of the article, we kindly ask the authors to provide us with their proof corrections within two days.
  2. Reject.
    No action is needed.
  3. Conditionally Accepted (Revised). In this manuscript status, please, read the following:
    a) Revised manuscript (no author details):
    (1) When submitting revisions, the authors are encouraged to submit (in addition to the "clean" manuscript) a revised manuscript that should include the main body of the paper with the most significant changes and additions marked in a color code / tracked changes.
    (2) The text and the revisions must not include any identifying information such as named comments.

    b) Response to reviewers (no author details):
    (1) When submitting revisions, submit a response to the reviewers' letter that includes an overview (a summary of the most significant changes made) and detailed point-by-point responses to editor's and reviewers' comments.
    (2) The response to reviewers must be anonymous.
    (3) The responses are also copy-pasted to certain fields in the Editorial Manager system when submitting a revised paper.

Article Structure

  1. Abstract

Please supply an abstract of NOT EXCEED 150-200 words outlining the purpose, scope, and conclusions of the paper, and at least THREE selected keywords. The abstract must be very clear and understandable to those for whom English is not their native language. The abstract should explain why the paper is important to those who may not necessarily be in that particular field.

  1. Introduction

State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

  1. Results

Results should be clear and concise.

  1. Discussion

This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. The combined results and discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

  1. Conclusions

The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a discussion or results and discussion section.

  1. References

The journal encourages you to cite relevant references in your manuscript by citing them in your text. Data references should include the following elements: author name(s), dataset title, data repository, version (where available), year, and global persistent identifier. Please ensure that references are complete, i.e. that they include, where relevant, the author's name, article or book title, volume, and issue number, publisher and location, date, and page reference.

Reversion of rights: Articles may sometimes be accepted for publication but later rejected in the publication process, even in some cases after public posting in “Articles in Press” form, in which case all rights will revert to the author (see: https://ijt.journals.ekb.eg/journal/authors.note).

Revisions and addenda: I understand that no revisions, additional terms, or addenda to this Journal Publishing Agreement can be accepted without the Copyright Owner’s express written consent. I understand that this Journal Publishing Agreement supersedes any previous agreements I have entered into with the Copyright Owner about the Article from the date hereof.
